CONFIRMATION RETREAT DAY |
SATURDAY, JUNE 7, 2008 |
| FIVE confirmation candidates from St. Gabriel's, Ormesby, joined 14 candidates from St. Andrew's for a retreat day at Whitecliffe, near Hutton Magna, just off the A66 near Scotch Corner. The day was run by retreat owners Hilda and Mike Hedley who provided a very spiritual and enlightening day. The day brought to an end a 4 week confirmation course and culminated in 16 young people from our parish being confirmed on Wednesday, June 12 by Bishop Terence Drainey at Middlesbrough Cathedral.
