WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP

We understand that many parishioners’ incomes have been badly hit by the coronavirus crisis and our thoughts and prayers continue to be with all of those affected in this way.

Also most of our parishioners have not yet found the confidence to return to Mass and so are viewing an online Mass which is fine, but we are also missing their regular donations.

However, we also know that others who are still in a position to do so wish to continue supporting the parish as you have always done so generously. This message is for those people.

Clearly, the parish’s own income has been drastically reduced, as the vast majority of you give your offerings weekly either by envelope or loose cash into the collection plate and have not been able to do this during the pandemic and the ongoing government restrictions. Add to this the fact that the income from our parish hall has been decimated by the cancellation of all fundraising activites and the closure of the facilities which we can no longer hire out since the crisis started.

However, the bills have kept coming in for payment.

DONATE BY REGULAR STANDING ORDER

You can make your regular donation by setting up a standing order, the donation will then be paid direct in to the parish bank account.

Simply send a brief message to our parish office including your name and contact number and if you are eligible for Gift Aid and we will arrange for Mrs. Sue Golden to contact you to make the necessary arrangements.

PLEASE NOTE: The 300 Club has also been suspended.
